!!! The Groovy Groovetones History !!!


     " The Groovetones " is a classic rock and roll band based in Seacoast NH
    and plays popular music from the 60's and 70's. The idea of
    putting the band together came from Sue (the drummer) and Mark
    (the bass player) renewing a friendship that began in the 70's. Sue
    and Mark were in two very successful bands together called
    "HARMONY" and "SWEET TREAT", back in the 70's. (Sue happens
    to be one of the select few professional female drummers in the NH
    Seacoast area.) So with the determination to be successful once again,
    Sue and Mark decided it might be fun to put a band together again.  Larry,
    aka L.J. Delta, answered one of the many ads that were posted. He had the
    flexibility and the love of playing music that Sue and Mark were looking for.
           With the combined years of experience put together from Mark, Sue
    and Larry,The Groovetones have harnessed a sound and developed an
    image to help bring out your memories of some of the most loved rock
    and roll songs of a time gone by.
